Dick Van Dyke and Marriage -

Scott and I spent the last week in Western Colorado. We had a great time. Not a single tense moment, and we were inseparable the entire time.

We get back home and the worries of "reality" get in our way, and we get tense, and the lightheartedness that was so strong while on "vacation" quickly dissipates.

Reminders to never stop dancing - even when we're home, and to treat each other as the other would want to be treated seem to always be necessary.

Why, oh why, do vacation and home have to be so different? Can't being home be the vacation?
